The Memoria Stools project explores and highlights the rich heritage of vernacular stools in Mexico—traditional objects used by artisans in their daily lives as tools for work or various activities. Milking stools, sewing stools, butcher stools, and weaver stools are passed down through generations within families, each carrying profound significance and treasured as sacred heirlooms imbued with the memory of their ancestors.

In homage to these traditions, each object was cast in bronze, preserving their essence and making them timeless. This act of translation is not merely a translation but a recognition that memory and tradition are in constant evolution, bridging the past and present.
