The Exhuma Collection continues to grow with the introduction of its newest piece: the Exhuma Dining Table.
Crafted through the fusion of cast metal and carved green marble, the Dining Table marks a new expression within the Exhuma Collection. Each base is carved from green marble by master artisans, while the metal top is cast, the trace of the human hand present in every edge and surface.
Exhuma was first brought to life at Les Ateliers Courbet in New York, as part of EWE’s debut solo exhibition, honoring the metalworking traditions of the Purépecha and the innovation of pre-Hispanic craft.
Rooted in casting methods developed by the Purépecha around 1450 AD, the collection adapts these ancestral techniques into a contemporary language, keeping Mexico’s metallurgical legacy alive in every piece.
Together with the coffee table, console, and mirror, the new dining table further expands the Exhuma Collection—each piece shaped through the same reinterpretation of ancestral casting techniques.
