The Partera chair and stool are part of the Syncretism Collection, born from a process of research and observation into vernacular objects in Mexico. Drawing inspiration from the shape of traditional birthing chairs, Partera represents EWE Studio’s unique interpretation and abstraction of this ancient piece of furniture.

Carved from a single block of either wood or stone, these pieces have no joints, showcasing the integrity of their form. The stools feature a pristine, circular base with a rough inner surface, creating a contrast between smooth and textured elements of both material and form.
