RITO VESSEL #6

The Rito vessel collection is born from a series of visits to Mexican museums and draws references from the sacred objects and urns used in Pre-Columbian Mexico. While reinterpreting existing elements, EWE bridges artisanal heritage with contemporary design.

The vessels result from an exploration of volume, equilibrium, and counterweights. Each object was carefully hand-carved by master stonemasons in Mexico City. The Rito Vessels are created in sets, with each pair dialoguing and conversing with its mirror, acquiring sculptural value within their tensions and dualities.
