Simbolo is born from a process of studying form and sculpture, using basic elements of geometry such as the plane, the circle, and the line to create compositions in various ways. These compositions generate a complex yet simple sculptural volume that can be appreciated differently from every angle.

This approach to form and sculpture bears similarities to how the codices and pictograms of Mesoamerican cultures used symbolic representations and pictorial languages. Just like Simbolo, Mesoamerican codices and pictograms employed basic visual elements to create compositions that conveyed messages and information.
Simbolo represents a transition—much like the point and the line—between the finite and the infinite. It manifests as a symbol of EWE’s values and sculptural language.
