The Last Tenant was an exhibition held in a modernist house at Palmas 1145 in Mexico City—a space with little documented history but rich in suggestive detail. Through subtle traces in its materials and layout, the house invited visitors to imagine past lives lived within it.
Following a year that challenged our perception of time and value, the exhibition offered a cross-temporal dialogue between artists and designers. Some works asked viewers to pause and reflect; others seemed to have awaited rediscovery, resonating anew in the present.
