For Gallery Weekend CDMX 2021, EWE presented new editions of its Memoria and Magma collections in an exhibition titled Ígneo. The show introduced two new color variations of the Magma lighting fixtures, crafted in clear and smoky glass, as well as three new bronze Memoria stools.
Set within EWE’s showroom, the presentation offered an intimate look into the studio’s creative universe. Nearly 300 models, tests, samples, and mock-ups filled the space—evidence of four years of continuous experimentation and collaboration with master artisans in glass, stone, wood, ceramics, metal, and other organic materials. Visitors could trace the evolution of each piece through the tools, molds, and references displayed throughout, highlighting the studio’s dedication to process, craft, and material exploration.
