On May 13, 2025, EWE Studio opened its first solo exhibition in New York at Les Ateliers Courbet.
The show debuted Exhuma, a new collection that pays tribute to pre-Hispanic innovation and Purépecha metallurgy. Comprising a console, coffee table, and mirror, the series combines cast stainless steel—shaped in sand molds—with volcanic stone bases, a material integral to Purépecha architecture and sacred objects.

Along with this new collection, we also presented two new pieces that joined the Símbolo family—two green onyx side tables that beautifully complemented the collection. Rooted in a sculptural exploration of form, these new additions continued EWE’s investigation of geometry through planes, circles, and lines. Inspired by the symbolic language of Mesoamerican codices, the pieces embodied a transition between the finite and the infinite—serving as quiet yet powerful expressions of EWE’s sculptural identity.
With love,
