The Magma Extra Extra Large Brown is a 3-meter long design that showcases EWE Studio’s expertise in blending materials and uniting different techniques and artisan processes. It is the first edition of the Magma in this color way, and is inspired by the changing shape of lava, playing homage to the rugged and ever-changing Mexican terrain and showing deference to Mexico’s unique geological complexity.

Magma Lighting Fixtures are produced in collaboration with Nouvel Glass, a renowned glass manufacturer in Mexico City. The Magma Lighting Fixtures combine glass and metal to create a series of lamps with a distinct atmospheric sensation. The work is part of the Alquimia Collection, which aims to fuse materiality and the expertise of Mexican craftsmen; it directly alludes to the practice of alchemy and fire as a transformative element.
