Mexico City 2024 Art Week Recap

16 February, 2024

This past week was filled with a myriad of events, drawing visits and attention to the extraordinary art and design scenes of Mexico City. In a vibrant week packed with wonderful events, EWE Studio was present at multiple exhibitions during the past week.

We hope you were able to attend these shows, and invite you to learn more about the works presented.

During the 2024 Mexico City Art Week, EWE opened its doors and welcomed visitors to our showroom. This Open Showroom is an archive of the studio and displays the processes behind our works. A selection of pieces was exhibited in a new range of materials, showcasing EWE’s commitment high-quality craftmanship. We exhibited two new works at this showroom, pictured above: Rito #6 and Estela Lighting Fixture in Travertine Marble, and the recently developed Cumulo Lighting Sculpture.

Our Showroom is still open Tuesday through Friday for visits, by appointment only.

EWE Studio, Córdoba 206, Roma Norte, CDMX.

Our Altar Bench #3 is still at view at MASA Gallery’s current exhibitions, open until March 23, 2024. This collaborative exhibition highlights the work of artiss and designers from MASA Gallery and Luhring Augustine. We hope you are still able to see this piece at MASA’s unique and historic Mexico City space.

EWE Studio exhibited a selection of pieces in COLLECTIONAL’S first show in Mexico City, debuting at Unique Design Group x Mexico City fair. The works on view at this exhibition were the Estela Lighting Fixture in Travertine Marble; and Copal Side Table in Wood.

Thank you for another incredible Art Week. We hope you enjoyed the happenings as much as we did, and look forward to welcoming you to events to come.

With love,
